More Fun Activities
I couldn’t stop with the playdough mats, so I created some Halloween counting playdough mats for learning fun! This is an easy way to learn numbers and counting with the younger children! These mats are still great for playdough, but you have the option to use other objects too like plastic spiders to add to the spider web to count the correct number shown on each mat! Then use dry-erase markers to trace the given number! This is a great activity for math skills!
How To Organize
Organizing is one of my most favorite things! So I’ve got a few ways I organize our playdough mats so we can use them again and again!
Option 1: Binder
Once you’ve laminated your playdough mats or put them in a sheet protector you can organize them in a binder by season.
Option 2: Photo Ring
Take your laminated playdough mats and hole punch one corner and use a photo ring to combine by season.
Option 3: File System Box
I currently use a plastic file box with a handle that I can easily transport from room to room for our homeschool activity papers. I use hanging folders for each season or subject. For example, I have St. Patrick’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and I also have Math, Alphabet, Life Skills, etc. This has worked really well for the activity sheets that we use more than just once.
