Ways to Use Free Printable Template
Cactus Craft Activities
Use this cactus template for multiple cactus crafts! Even just as something fun for the kids to do one afternoon when it’s too hot outside to keep their little hands and minds busy for a bit.
Cactus Unit Study
We love Stephanie Hathaway’s unit studies and she has a beautiful Desert Unit Study that would go great with this template!
Cactus Card
Once you’ve created your cactus, lay your cactus on top of another piece of paper. A piece of thicker paper such as cardstock or construction paper would work best. Trace your cactus creation onto the piece of paper. Cut it out. Use a thin line of glue on the left side to attach to create a front and back for a card. A stapler would also work.
Birthday Theme
If you’re hosting a cactus birthday-themed party, this would make a great activity for the kids to enjoy during the party! Print out several sheets of both the black-and-white and colored cactus, pots, and flowers. Scatter on a table for the kids to create their own cactus. Get out the crayons, markers, glue, and any extra craft supplies that the kids can use to decorate. If you dare, bust out the glitter!
Coloring Page
Your child can color the cactus and props however they want and then assemble them, but I’ve also included this cute coloring page you can download too!
