Keeping the Focus on the Real Reason for Easter

As parents, we know that the Easter holiday can easily become focused on candy, egg hunts, and baskets. While those traditions can be fun, teaching our children the real reason we celebrate is what matters most. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the foundation of our faith. Finding an interactive way to help little hearts understand Christ’s resurrection can feel overwhelming, but simple tools like this free printable make a great resource for busy moms.

Instead of just hearing the story once, they are engaging with it in a hands-on way. For different ages, you can adjust expectations. Younger kids can focus on coloring and listening, while older children can read the scriptures aloud, retell the events in their own words, and even add their own illustrations.

So if you’re looking for a great Easter resource that doesn’t require complicated prep, this is it. This download comes as easy-to-use PDF files. You can print them again and again for your family or church classroom.

However you choose to use it, the goal remains the same, helping our children understand the real reason we celebrate. And that’s Jesus’ victory over the grave!
