The Best Fall Essential Oil Diffuser Blends (Free Printable)
Fall is quickly approaching and I can’t wait! I love Summer, but once August hits I’m over the heat! I’m ready for all the warm drinks and cozy cardigans. But Fall scents are what really gets me every time! There’s nothing like the coziness of a fire, cuddling up with a good book, and smelling cinnamon sticks, cloves, and orange! So, if you’re prepping for Fall, you’re going to want to go ahead and stock up on your essential oils! And I’m including a free printable with the best Fall essential oil diffuser blends!
What Are Essential Oils
So if you’re not already familiar with essential oils they are concentrated compounds that are extracted from plants. In this way essential oils contain the plants natural smell. They can be extracted by distillation or mechanical methods.
PIN FOR LATER
Once essential oils are bottled they can be used in a variety of ways for aromatherapy.
- Ultrasonic diffuser with water.
- Topically on the skin with a carrier oil such as fractionated coconut oil.
- Inhalation with an aromatherapy inhaler.
Essential Oils Instead of Candles
It wasn’t until a few years ago that I even learned about the toxic chemicals in most candles and how they’re impacting our health. Once I started digging into the info, I knew the lovely aromas weren’t worth what I was sacrificing of our family’s health. That’s when I started seeking alternatives.
Candle Ingredients
When purchasing conventional candles, most of the time a full ingredient list isn’t listed. But you may see these two on the label and they’re the most damaging to our bodies and our families.
- Paraffin: Derived from petroleum and has been found to contain known carcinogens (cancer-causing agents)
- Fragrance: Also petroleum based and include phthalates that disrupt hormones.
I highly recommend a post by Dr. Courtney Kahla, Candles, Essential Oils, and Diffusers. She takes a deeper dive into conventional candles and the problem with them, candles made from soy, and more on essential oils.
Besides using essential oils to enjoy the smell, many of them offer health benefits and can support our bodies in multiple ways. For example, the combination of cinnamon, lemon, eucalyptus, clove, and rosemary that you can find in Plant Therapy’s Germ Fighter Blend supports our immune system during seasonal changes. Alone it smells life Fall!
Where to Buy Essential Oils
I always encourage everyone to do their own research, especially, when it comes to the products you use in your homes. I’ve used several different essential oil brands over the last 10 years. But I always return to Plant Therapy. And there’s so many reasons why:
- Affordable
- Kidsafe options
- Free education on use
- Dilution charts and safety information
- Free shipping in the US
- Organic options
- Rewards program
- Third party tested
- Safety data sheets
- Tests reports with lot numbers
Favorite Diffusers
I have a small obsession with diffusers. There are so many pretty ones and basically every room in the house needs one, because I mean what if everyone is sick at the same time, right? I’m totally kidding, kind of. But I do love a good diffuser! These are some of my favorites and maybe even some I’ve got a wish list (someone show this to my husband)!

2. Metro Stone Deluxe Diffuser

The Best Candles
If you didn’t know I used to own a small shop making beeswax candles and other natural beeswax products. After having our 3rd child, I had to give it up. It was too much stress trying to do all the things. Highly recommend the book Essentialism, it’s what finally gave me the realization of what I needed to do in giving that shop up.
But I started that shop because as a candle lover, mother, and daughter of a cancer survivor I wanted the best nontoxic candle. And during my research I found that to be 100% pure beeswax with a cotton, lead free wick. It’s been 3 years ago since I closed my shop down, but I still only recommend 100% beeswax candles with all cotton wicks to anyone that I talk to.
I totally get the cozy feel you want in your home and you can still achieve this without sacrificing your health and your family’s health by using beeswax candles and essential oils! If you’re interested in making your own beeswax candles, you can check out my post about hand rolled beeswax candles.
Additionally, if you don’t want to make your own beeswax candles you can find them almost anywhere online. Just be sure to look for 100% pure beeswax and that it’s a cotton wick. Here are a few you can check out to start with:
And finally, I’d love to hear from you, what’s your favorite essential oil or blend? And don’t forget to grab this cute, fun printable! It has the list of essential oil blends that you can display next to your diffuser or you can use the other side for some fall seasonal decor!
I love this! I’m going to get my diffuser out right now.
Oh man! I’m going to have to try those! They sound amazing!
I am SO here for this. I just started making my own cleaners this year and my mom, who has a lot of oils haha, gave me several. I live the diffusers and the candle suggestions. Can’t wait for the printable. Thank you!
I love diffusing, but I admit I have never been good at making my own blends! lol Thanks so much for the handy printable.
There are few things I love more than good fall diffuser blends 🙂 I can’t wait to try these blends! Thanks for sharing them!!
Nice blends, I definitely going to try them! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Wouldn’t be a fall item if it didn’t mention pumpkin spice, ha ha. The Apple one will definitely be one we will try out though. It’s always been an important part of my wife and i’s relationship, since we were dating, to go Apple picking in the fall together. We love the diffuser in the kitchen, helps get the smell of the compost and dirty dishes out of the year.
